I recently had a great experience staying at a guesthouse by the Mekong River. The rooms were comfortable and the WiFi was the best I've encountered in Laos. When we arrived early in the morning, the owner kindly allowed us to store our bags so we could explore the city. The location was convenient, within walking distance to the riverfront and dining options. The owner even arranged a timely taxi to take us to the airport. it was a budget-friendly and accommodating stay.
Everything was great! 😊

I recently stayed at the Mekong Riverside in Vientiane for a week-long vacation. The location was perfect, as it was right on the edge of the night market and a park, making it easy to explore and find food and drinks. Despite its central location, the room was surprisingly quiet and spacious. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and the owner, who is a native English speaker, was incredibly helpful. The room had all the amenities I needed, including a desk, good wifi, and a clean bathroom with hot water. Additionally, having a water dispenser in the hotel was a convenient feature.
I would definitely recommend this hotel.
